What our clients say.
“Every year, our country is hit by devastating floods. In those moments, our teams need a boat they can fully rely on. We had been searching for something lightweight, strong and easy to handle. A boat that can reach flooded areas, take a beating and keep working without constant maintenance. Black Workboats gives our teams the confidence to focus on the people who need help, instead of worrying about the equipment. That is what matters most to us.”
Marine Precision — Thailand
“A big thank you to Oliver and the team at Black Workboats for the delivery of our new 5.0m indestructible, unsinkable workboat. From start to finish, the service was excellent, the delivery seamless, and the quality of both the vessel and your support truly exceeded expectations. This versatile little vessel is the perfect replacement for our old ex-NATO aluminium workboat. With four certified lifting eyes, a self draining deck, push bow, and shallow draft, it’s ideally suited for work under and around piers and jetties. Looking forward to putting it through its paces!”
MMC Diving Services — UK
“When you work with manufacturers and suppliers sometimes the customer service and urgency can be lost. We needed to add to our fleet and with BLACK Workboats and Advance Marine it was quick and easy — and as you’ll see it’s the best boat for the job. In two weeks the boat was delivered, commissioned and living up to its name pushing pontoons. Next will be its integration into our training fleet for our commercial powerboat training for small work boat and safety boat operatives in river and coastal environments.”
BM Safety — UK
“I bought a boat here. I was looking for an indestructible boat for work and fishing. One that you can easily take anywhere, even over rocky banks.”
Arie den Hertog — NL
“As the laws in Amsterdam were about to change and mandate electric motors for all watercraft, I decided to replace my century-old boat with a more modern option including an electric motor.”
Mihnea-Costin Grigore — NL
HDPE (high density polyethylene) is a tough, lightweight thermoplastic that doesn’t rust, rot or corrode. It absorbs impact, is fully UV stable when carbon-black compounded, and can be welded into a seamless monolithic hull. The result is a workboat that needs no paint, no antifouling and almost no maintenance.
HDPE boats are built to perform in all temperatures. With our boats operating from the fjords of Scandinavia to the rivers and coasts of Africa, they have proven themselves in vastly different climates and conditions. Whether driving through ice or operating in extreme heat, HDPE can handle it.
Yes. One of the major advantages of HDPE is that it is relatively easy to repair. Damage can be repaired by plastic welding, without the need for complex tools or materials. Even in remote locations, repairs can often be carried out quickly, helping to keep downtime to a minimum.
Yes. The BJ 550 PRO 18 stacks up to eight hulls inside a 40ft high cube shipping container. The BJ 500 can also be stacked eight high in a 20ft standard container, dramatically reducing transport and storage cost per vessel.
Yes. Rod holders and electric trolling motors can be fitted easily. The boats are stable, comfortable to use and require very little maintenance, so you can spend more time on the water and less time working on the boat.
Yes. Boats can be picked up, delivered within the Netherlands, or shipped worldwide. International delivery is quoted separately based on destination and quantity.
